I can hardly believe we really made it to the last week of the CSA! That’s incredible! We did it! At any point until now we could have lost our crops to rabbits, weather conditions, or just run out of food and we would have said “Well, we tried”. But the end of the CSA marks the finish line. We set out to produce three households worth of fresh vegetables for 16 weeks in an urban backyard. Now we can say we did it! (And some things are actually still growing)
I want to thank everyone who offered their kind support, and especially those of you who came out and volunteered this season. You helped me plant seeds, till, harvest, document the process through pictures and spread the word. You gave me feedback and encouragement. You helped me transform the garden into a farm. Thank you!
